Mike works with medical and dental practices throughout North Carolina. He enjoys working with doctors throughout their professional lifecycles on issues such as practice buy-ins, employment agreements, tax and accounting, physician compensation plans, revenue cycle, practice management, and practice transitions and retirements.
Mike is a Certified Healthcare Business Consultant (CHBC) and is a member of the National Society of Certified Healthcare Business Consultants, a national organization dedicated to serving the needs of consultants who provide ethical, confidential, and professional advice to the healthcare industry. He is a Certified Specialist: Physician Practice Management by the Healthcare Financial Management Association. He also belongs to the Association of Independent Doctors, a trade association promoting the interests of doctors not employed by health systems.
Mike grew up in Orlando, where he attended Rollins College and has proudly called Greensboro home since 2004. Prior to becoming a CPA, Mike started his career as a pharmaceutical sales representative for a major American company, where his purview included an iconic antidepressant.
Mike enjoys mountain biking and triathlons and is an accomplished drummer who can occasionally be spotted playing at restaurants and charity events. He met his wife, Natalie, during her 3rd year of medical school at Vanderbilt. Together, they enjoy international travel and their Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.
