Benjamin Hamrick is a Partner at DMJPS CPAs + Advisors in Business Valuation Services. Ben began his career with the firm in 1983, specializing in business taxation, audit, and accounting. In 1995, he established the firm’s valuation practice. Ben has since become a recognized leader in valuation and advisory services, most recently honored by Forbes among America’s Top CPAs for Valuation and on the 2025 Best-In-State CPAs list. He provides valuation expertise and transaction advisory services for privately held companies and business owners, with experience spanning family transitions, tax planning, and complex business transactions.
Ben collaborates closely with legal counsel, financial advisors, and other professionals, always striving to understand the unique needs of each client and situation. His dedication to the profession was recognized in 2018 when he received North Carolina’s highest honor, the CPA Pinnacle Award.
Beyond his professional achievements, Ben is deeply rooted in his community. He has taken on several volunteer leadership roles and has been honored as Small Business Leader of the Year and Volunteer of the Year by the Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce. Outside of work, Ben enjoys spending time with his family, working out at the Y, cycling, photography, cooking, reading, and engaging in outdoor activities.
